About PixelGaunt

Pixel Gaunt Studios (PixelGaunt) is an independent game studio and a free online browser game platform. It began as a solo project: learning game development by building small HTML5 browser games one at a time. Today it has grown into a library of free games across action, arcade, racing, puzzle, shooter, fishing and more, including 3D games and online co-op games.

What you can do here

• Play free games instantly. Every game runs in your browser on PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. There is no download, and you do not need an account to play.
• Try demos of bigger games. Some games have a free demo, with the full game planned for later. Demos are clearly labelled.
• Play with others. Selected games have online multiplayer or co-op, and we run community tournaments.
• Publish your own game. Any developer can upload a browser game on the Publish page. After a review it goes live for players worldwide, and the developer receives 80% of the ad revenue the game earns.
• Join the community. Share feedback, report bugs and suggest games in our community and on Discord.

How our games are made

Our games are made by indie developers with the help of AI tools for code, art and sound. We say this openly. Every game is played and tested by a person before it goes live, and we keep fixing bugs and improving games after release. Games made with AI tools are welcome from other developers too, as long as they follow our Developer Agreement.

Community games and review

Games uploaded by other developers are reviewed by PixelGaunt before they are published. We check that a game works, is safe to run, is appropriate for a general audience and does not copy someone else's work. We cannot guarantee every detail of community content, so if you spot a problem please contact us and we will look into it quickly.

How PixelGaunt is funded

Playing is free and is supported by advertising. Developers can also choose a paid Subscriber plan to publish more games at a larger size, and players can choose a paid Game plan for full (paid) games. Prices are shown on the Subscription page before you pay.
